The Law of Relativity - A New Perspective!

0 komentar

Author: Adam Price

When trying to understand the law of relativity, our first principle to understand is in reality nothing is good or bad, it's just the way it should be in a perfect state of grace. It's when we as humans living on this earth plane, decide to compare ourselves or our situations (whether we're in dire straits or going well) that discontentment sets it.

The law of relativity states, if we practice relating our situations to something worse off than ourselves, then we'll always be happy and feel blessed. However if we practice relating to those "perceived" in our own mind as being better off than we are, then we could possibly be quite miserable at times.

"Nothing is good or bad until it's related to something of meaning to you"

And we find as we dig deeper into understanding the laws of the universe that everything is relative to something. For example, all the laws are related to one another in some way shape or form. So you'll learn that there is no big or small, fast or slow, except by comparison of our perceptions. Therefore every law there is, must be relative to all the other laws.

The way or the top dogs and greatest to ever live, are also the same for those at the bottom of the pack, this scenario has been coined as "The Way" and Lao Tzu wrote about this in possibly the greatest book of all time call the "Tao Te Ching" (said: Dow De Ching). This writing has something like 82 lessons around this concept and is very deep, and at the same time is very easy to understand, and the best book of understanding of this writing and deciphering of the lessons is by spiritual master Dr. In Wayne Dyers CD and Book Series "Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life".

So in other words all the laws are in harmony, when relatively compared to each other. If you can gain understanding of this concept, you'll become closer to solving the secrets of the universe that often seems paradoxical in nature. So when we look at the "fourth dimension" in our lives, which is basically our spirit and how it drives our lives, we can boil it down to our rate of vibration as energy cells. The faster we vibrate the lighter we are and therefore can appear as spirits or those who possess magical qualities, yet compared to a denser form of vibration, we are more mortal than spiritual. Yet for this comparison to hold true, it's all relative to the faster or slower vibrating energy.

So in brining the law of relativity into the world of mere mortals, we can look upon it this way. When we properly use the law or relativity we win. You need to remember you have unique skills and abilities that come easier to you than others, and vice versa, if you have to compare yourself to anyone (not recommended), but if you do, then compare your strengths and focus on making them stronger, rather than what others are far better than you at. This way you won't feel bad, but rather you'll feel good about yourself, see it's all perception and learning how to set yourself up to succeed. This is the natural unraveling of the law of relativity, and if you look deeply inside the meanings of every event, you'll soon uncover how special you are within each event.

Christian Mentoring Team To Help You Succeed In Life

0 komentar

Author: John Fagan

It seems like more and more our society is discounting the importance of the role fathers play in their children’s lives. Whether it is the promotion of single parenting or the feminist movement, fathers have lost their status as the foundation of the family. This shift has had tremendous ramifications for today’s youth. Countless studies show that when the Father is absent from the home, children are more likely to live in poverty, have lower self-esteem and perform worse in school. With divorce rates at an all-time high, even 50% in the churches, many fathers have been ushered out of the home. It is no wonder our youth are experiencing a moral crisis today. I know how important my father is in my life. My dad is the glue that holds my family together. He is the pillar of strength and wisdom, the example of unconditional love and zeal for the ways of the Lord. Too often though, even in Christian homes, fathers neglect to be the leaders God requires of them.

Parents Turn Off the Television and Tune into Your Family.

Spend quality time with your family and get to know their lives intimately. When you have a close personal relationship with your family, they will honour your guidance because they cannot bear to disappoint you. Also, for at least one meal per day, let’s eat together as a family. This is the perfect time to catch up on what is going on in each other’s lives, and can set the framework for further one-on-one time. Discipline with Love; Never in Anger. "My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in" (Proverbs 3:11-12). Discipline can be as difficult to implement as it is to receive, but we need guidance and correction. Work with us to establish boundaries and appropriate punishments for crossing the line. Consistency is essential in this process; we should know in advance the consequences for breaking the rules. Discipline us with consistency, wisdom, and love. See Hebrews 12:5-11, "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it."

We Must Lead By Example Teach the Ways of the Lord.

God holds parents accountable to teach their children His ways. Fathers, as heads of the family, it is your responsibility to ensure that your family is God-centred. We need to learn to apply godly principles in our lives from an early age, not just in church-related matters, but also to every aspect of our lives. A Father must Honour His Children’s Mother. It is through your relationship with your wife that the children first learn about relationships between men and women. When your son sees the love and respect you show to his mother, he will learn to treat women the same way when he is older. And your daughters will hold high standards in romantic relationships because we will not settle for anyone who does not treat us as well as our father treated our mother. Do not fight in front of your children. Even teenage children will personalize parental disputes that may have nothing to do with them. Show your wife love and respect and they will emulate this behavior.

You must Show Affection

Hugs and "I love you" are not just for your wife; we need to feel in our hearts that Dad loves us, so do not be afraid to show your daughters and sons plenty of affection. "Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him (Luke 15:17-24). Be Patient and Forgiving Despite your love and guidance, we will make mistakes, and when we do, we need to know that you will be patient and forgiving (Luke 15:17-24). The mark of a loving parent is the willingness to forgive. Lets switch gears a little to how you can minister to many or mentor many. One of the first things Christians need to know is you don’t have to be an ordained Minister to minister! To minister means to attend to the needs and comfort of another. "To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings" (1 Corinthians 9:22-23). Paul gave us some very important principles for ministering to others. For one thing, we must do our best to find common ground with those we come in contact with. It is a big mistake to display a know-it-all-attitude. We must do our best to make others feel accepted. We need to be sensitive to the needs and concerns of others and look for opportunities to tell them about Christ. Paul chose to find common ground with everyone and those with weak consciences in order that some might be saved. However, Paul never compromised the gospel truth, the Laws of God, or his own conscience. Paul was always willing to go the extra mile to meet people where they were. He always kept his eyes focused on the goal of spreading the Good News. Paul’s life focused on taking the gospel to an unbelieving world. These principles should be a part of our personal ministry, for they are just as valid for us today as they were for Paul in his day.

Team Effort is Necessary for True Ministry

Paul explained to the church at Corinth that no one person should do everything. Paul’s gift was preaching, and that’s what he did. He was emphasizing the need for Christian ministry to be a team effort. No preacher or teacher is a complete link between God and His people. Likewise, no individual can do all that the apostles did. Each Christian should be content with the gift or contribution God has given him/her to make, and he/she should carry it out with a whole heart. "I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought" (1 Corinthians 1:10). Paul was pleading to the believers to allow real harmony to exist among them and to be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. Of course, Paul was not saying they had to be exactly the same to be perfectly united. Instead, he wanted them to set aside their arguments and focus on Jesus Christ as Lord, and their mission to take the light of the gospel into a dark world.

What does the word "Mentoring" mean?

And how does one be a successful Mentor? Webster says, "A Mentor is a wise adviser, a trusted teacher and counselor." This description tells us that not just anyone will be capable of fulfilling the duties of a mentor. Usually, wisdom rides on the head of an older person. Trusting in someone comes with communication over a long period of time. When you find someone who has wisdom, who is trustworthy, and also has the ability to teach good things, you will have found much more than a friend for life, you will have found a "Mentor." A mentor should be a best friend. A mentor, preferably, should not be a person your own age, but older and wiser when it comes to life. Real friendships involves face-to-face honesty. Real friendships also involve loyalty. What kind of a mentoring friend would you be, if you had the chance? There is a vast difference between knowing someone well and being a true mentoring friend. The greatest evidence of a genuine mentoring friendship is loyalty, which loves at "all times." In 1 Corinthians 13:7 one reads the importance of being available to help in times of distress or personal struggles. Too many people are fair-weather friends. They stick around when the friendship helps them and leave when they’re not getting anything out of the relationship. Think of your friends and appraise your loyalty to them. Be the kind of true mentoring friend the Bible encourages. Jesus Christ is our Lord and master, yet He calls us His friends. How comforting and reassuring to be chosen as Christ’s friends. Real mentoring involves a loving relationship. We are to love each other as Jesus loved us. Sometimes being a mentor involves the simple practice of listening, helping, encouraging and giving.

5 Ships Needed to Take Your Church into the Future

1 komentar

Author: Bryan Cutshall

One of the most common mistakes made by leaders is changing courses to fast. A church is a lot like a ship. If you turn too fast, you will turn the boat over. The sea of life if full of sunken ships that would have survived if the leaders would have transitioned instead of forcing abrupt and immediate change. Change is not accepted merely because it is needed. Many people know things need to change, but would rather settle for mediocrity than venture into the unknown seas of an uncertain future. People will only accept change if their leader has enough influence, track record and integrity to ensure a safe trip into uncharted waters. Changing a church requires at least 5 ships: Leadership, Worship, Discipleship, Stewardship and Fellowship.

Leadership- Unless the leaders are on board, change will be resisted and confusion is imminent. All of the questions have to be answered among the leaders, before the visions is cast to the rest of the congregation. Corporate vision casting should never catch your leaders off guard.

Worship- The key to a successful worship service is flow. A worship service that doesn’t have constant interruption points gives you a seamless experience with God. A service with flow gets you into His presence, and there your mind can be changed. Change must be perceived as spiritual growth. Nothing says that like a seamless flow in a worship experience.

Discipleship- Solve your problems in the smallest possible component. The quickest avenue of change is through small groups. Your discipleship program not only gives you the best results for personal growth, but also provided the perfect vehicle for corporate growth. Vision trinkles down from the top. As the leaders cast the vision, the small groups leaders can have unprecedented influence in creating positive momentum.

Stewardship- The first question concerning change is, "can we afford it." Churches have got to start thinking outside the offering plate. Growing churches need to create income streams that fuel their ministry budgets. A stewardship plan up front makes a huge impact on how people perceive ideas for change.

Fellowship - The larger a church becomes, the better it has to do small. Connectivity is the key to cohesiveness. Never underestimate the power of a night of eating, laughing and enjoying each other. The church is in the relationship business. We create an environment where individuals can have a personal relationship with God and the family of God. Friends can change the hearts of another friend much quicker that the best ran campaign.

Samuel, the Faithful Prophet

0 komentar

Author: Jon Straumfjord

Now the boy Samuel ministered to the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was rare in those days ... And ... the LORD called Samuel. ...

Then the LORD said to Samuel: "Behold, ... I will perform against Eli all that I have spoken ...

So Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel ... knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the LORD. (1 Samuel 3:1-2,11-12,19-20, NKJV)

Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, "If you return to the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths from among you, and prepare your hearts for the LORD, and serve Him only; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines." So the children of Israel put away the Baals and the Ashtoreths, and served the LORD only.

So they ... fasted that day, and said there,"We have sinned against the LORD."...

So the children of Israel said to Samuel, "Do not cease to cry out to the LORD our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines."

... Then Samuel cried out to the LORD for Israel, and the LORD answered him.

So the Philistines were subdued, and they did not come anymore into the territory of Israel. And the hand of the LORD was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.

And Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life. (1 Samuel 7:3,4,6,8,9,13,15, NKJV)

... when Samuel was old ... he made his sons judges over Israel.... But his sons did not walk in his ways ...

Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, and said to him, "... Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations."

But the thing displeased Samuel ... And the LORD said to Samuel, "Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. (1 Sam 8:1,3-7, NKJV)

Samuel (literally "Heard by God"), an Ephraimite (a descendant of Joseph), the son of Elkanah and Hannah, was miraculously conceived as the result of prayer (1 Samuel 1:1-20), and given to the Lord as a gift: he became the Israelite slave of Eli, the High Priest (1 Samuel 1:21-2:11). Since Samuel was neither a Levite nor a priest, he was forbidden from touching any of the holy things within the tabernacle, the tabernacle itself, the altar in front of the tabernacle, and even the curtains of the courtyard around the tabernacle. He was basically relegated to performing such menial tasks as carrying water, getting wood for the fire, tanning hides, and taking out the garbage, and yet, he performed his duties as unto the Lord.

Because of his faithfulness, the Lord called Samuel and gave him a prophetic word against Eli, his master. He reluctantly related the words of the Lord to the Eli, and as a result of Samuel's faithfulness, the Lord established him as a prophet in the eyes of all Israel. Years later, Samuel was able to use his reputation to inspire a revival, and restore Israel's relationship with the Lord. In approval, the Lord subdued the Philistines at Samuel's request and prevented them from warring against Israel all the days of his life.

When Samuel was old, he tried to establish his sons as judges over Israel, but the elders rejected them and demanded a king. Even though Samuel justifiably felt rejected, and even warned Israel about the consequences of their request, Saul the son of Kish was made king over Israel (1 Samuel 10:17-25).

So what lessons can we learn from Samuel? First, the Lord is no respecter of rank: He considers the High Priest and the slave alike. Second, the Lord highly regards the faithful and enthusiastic execution of one's personal ministry, no matter how menial the tasks may seem in the eyes of the world. Third, faithfulness leads to greater levels of anointing. Forth, the Lord will never abandon us, even though we may be rejected by the very people who benefit most from our ministry.

0 komentar

Author: Daniel Zoleta

The symbolism of numbers is, of course, very ancient and has been codified in many ages and cultures. In general, dream numbers convey ideas, sensations and lines of force in the personality. Here is a brief synthesis of the hidden meaning of numbers as they appear in our dreams.

ZERO - Zero denotes timelessness, super-conscious, eternity, and absolute freedom. It also symbolizes God.

ONE - One stands for individuality, individuality solitude, the ego, leadership, originality, beginnings, and a winner. It also stands for a higher spiritual force.

How To Magnify Your Results by Using The Law of Cause & Effect To Your Advantage!

0 komentar

Author: Adam Price

The law of cause and effect basically states that for every action, there needs to be an equal and opposite reaction. Sometimes the reaction isn't the opposite, it's an amplified version of the original action, whether the original action is positive or negative.

An example of cause and effect could be where two people are in an argument, and one reacts to the other with more aggression, and this escalates to the point of fighting and even striking at each other. This type of behavior is cause and effect in action, but in a negative or destructive circumstance.

This could have easily been the opposite, where the aggressor was responded with love or neutral and pressure diffusing response. This could cause the aggressor to then calm down and see there is really no threat to them, so they don't need to act angrily any longer.

The above is otherwise known as "karma" and every action we make, is either in alignment with the law of cause and effect or out of alignment with it.

If we decide to live our lives in a way that we do right, be kind and spread love to others then we'll essentially receive it back. However if on the other hand we do wrong by others, it will come back to us either in the physical manifestation or via the "karmic debt" of the spirit.

There is no way to cheat the law of cause and effect, think of it as an invisible eye that records and takes notes on all your actions, thoughts and feelings and repays you accordingly.

So how do we deepen this principal so that the many outcomes in our life are positive rather than what we're not after?

The answer is simple, yet difficult to implement, but we should strive to live by this law none the less.

To have what you want in life you need to become it!

Bet you weren't expecting that answer were you? And I'm not saying that if you want more money you need to magically morph into the form, shape and smell of money.

But rather, you need to look at what your goal means to you, and then look at someone who has what you want. They may or may not be role model people, but none the less they have achieved the goal you're after.

If they are nice people, you might decide to hang around them and learn the lessons of their success and then strive to implement their qualities into your life, but at the same time "please" don't lose your own personality or good qualities.

It's more than likely that if these people (even unknowingly, understand the law of cause and effect, yet they could call it something entirely different) they'll want to help you, because they were once helped themselves and know it's their karmic duty to repay that debt.

And if you cannot mix with the person that has the goal and success that you're after, because they aren't a nice style of person. I would suggest, under stealth, try and study that persons qualities, you're going to need to be very objective and take your ego out of play to do this, because it will be telling you "don't worry this ain't worth it" but believe me it is. There's nothing like studying success to succeed yourself.

The beautiful thing is, as you look and study the person and trying to distill the essence of their success, you might just end up helping them far more than you can imagine. Now this will work in your favour as far as the law of cause and effect goes, as it knows no good or bad, it's based purely on energy and repays the same energy in kind.

So if per chance you can interact with the person your studying and somehow impact them in a positive way, it could help change their outlook on life for themselves and that will in turn alter their balance (hopefully for the better). As you may notice as you study some highly successful people, who have succeeded "at any expense" are often very unbalanced in other areas of their lives, it might not be apparent to you, but you can bet your bottom dollar they have some form of imbalance and that's our opportunity to put the law of cause and effect into play.

If we shine our positive light on these people, they will be affected and so will we, it works beautifully all round.

When you look upon shining your positive love, light and peace on everyone and forgiving everyone for everything, you'll indeed be leveraging the amazing powers of cause and effect.

I urge you to try it and then see what the outcome is, and please share your experiences with me, I'd love to hear from you.

Daily Prayer Journal

0 komentar

Author: Theresa Twogood

Being Christian e-book publishers as well as the fact that we just celebrated the 'National Day of Prayer', we tend to get a lot of e-mail asking questions regarding prayer and the receiving of God's 'good things'. Unfortunately many people think that there must be some 'special methods' or 'tools' or even special words needed to get God's blessings! I'm saying it again here, that it just isn't so. No special words, phrases, methods or tools are needed to receive God’s blessings.

One needs to understand that when they are feeling a 'bit strange' or a 'bit philosophical' even ‘serendipitous’ that it is okay and most times those feeling are to assist us in recognizing them as the 'Call To Prayer'. All one has to do is to simply answer 'The Call'. God wants us to receive all the best ‘things’, all those daily needs as well as our wants and desires. So then why hasn't anyone come forward and said, 'wow, all I did was such and such and I started getting so and so'? Why, because it doesn't work that way. It only works that way in scams and multi-level-marketing plans! The actions one does are needed; however the more important aspect is in the change of a human heart. Change your heart to the fact that you are a child of God and that He truly wants you to have all the best of the best. He only wants you to do one simple thing, talk to Him! Oh yes, most people call this 'talking', simply praying.

The most organized way I know of how to bring the power of prayer and a deeper relationship with God is through the use of a daily prayer journal. Now, don't go off and say that I said you need some special tool to get God's blessings. No, the use of a journal is for our benefit and not the ‘magic ingredient’. Will God answer someone’s prayers without the use of a prayer journal? Of course, it is just an easy way to keep organized, but not a necessity. Your daily prayer journal is yours and yours alone, it can be fancy or it can be very plain. Your journal is for your eyes only, so make it 'work' for you and ‘your ways’. Most of the ladies I talk with find it very easy to switch over from doing some sort of a daily diary to a working prayer journal. Many guys, however, frown at the first mention of it until they too realize that they actually do some sort of daily diary keeping such as in their Day timer, Palm pilot, Blackberry, or even their blog. We all have some sort of daily diary keeping to some extent or another. All we need to do is switch from doing a daily 'to-do' list to a personal prayer journal. Once we have some sort of daily prayer journal we need to outline how we should use it.

The next important action you will need to do is to make a promise to yourself that you will set aside a small amount of time each day to have personal devotions with Bible reading and prayers. Whenever you feel moved or you are feeling ‘serendipitous' about a certain thought or over the meaning of a Bible passage write it and some of your other thoughts down and then, let it be for the day. Once every week or two go back and re-read your writings and make new notes of how those questions, thoughts, events and/or prayers worked out. You will be amazed that you can now see 'The Hand of God' moving in your life. That is why it is so important for you to write down everything you are feeling and/or thinking about the day, your work, the family or the Bible passage that you just turned to by accident and so on.

I understand just how simple it sounds however; you will experience it by taking the time to work with your journal daily. This is the beginning of a whole new life for you. By reading the ‘word’ of God (the Bible) you will begin to have a daily ‘walk’ with Him and wonderful results or outcomes just simply begin to happen. If you don't have a Bible look me up at one of the addresses below and I will see to it that you get an electronic version sent to you. Either way spend time with 'The Words of God', and you will begin to understand and to feel closer to God. The amount of reading you should do is up to you as to how much time should you spend is all based on how fast you read and so on. Again, it's all up to you and your ways.

After reading your Bible passages, 'meditate' which means nothing more than to 'seriously think' about what you read and how it applies to you, or if it applies to you at all. Next it is very important that you truly understand your lowliness and the ways you have hurt God. By either doing or not doing, by saying or by not saying what you should have! It is really important to be truly contrite or remorseful for your wrongs as well as have a serious and sincere wanting to correct these in the future, with God's help of course.

Now is the time you have been waiting for; the time for expressing all the wants and wishes you need and/or want. Unfortunately, until one really understands the whole devotional process I am highlighting here, they won't understand that this is not to be the biggest and/or longest part of their devotions. If one truly spends the time and understands just how undeserving we are, any amount of God’s blessings is more than any of us deserve. It doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t ask for this or that, it is only meant to be understood in light of our contrition. Ask and it will be given unto you in good time. However, don't allow this to become a wish list of things you just must have in order to keep up pace with Mary Lou and her husband! Many deeply religious people have said that once they truly understood personal devotion and true contrition they stopped asking for anything for themselves and spend the time trying to receive 'things' for others who really needed 'things'. I mention this to not marginalize anyone but only to convey the true devotional environment and contrition we need to possess. Once we have read Bible passages, understood our wrongs and developed the proper contrition, and even relayed our desires, it is time for contemplation. One should try to spend at least five or ten minutes not reading, not talking, not wishing, not writing not anything just contemplate silently that God is our Heavenly Father who loves us and wants only the best of ‘things’ for us. Then as we wait in the silence, we want to see if we can hear God speaking to our hearts. After, you have spent enough time for the various stages the next item is to write in your journal all the things you prayed about, all the things you read about as well as all the 'feelings' or 'understandings' you came to with God while in contemplation. That's it! You are now done with your daily personal devotion! You will find that the more you have of these daily devotions the more time you will want to spend doing so.

I will like to think that I can suggest this action and that you would be honest to yourself and in turn you will then promise yourself, to try and do personal daily devotions of thirty minutes or so for just one week! If you do, you will find it the most rewarding time of the day! You will be re-charged and re-inspired and will beam with inner-light. Seriously! Others will ask you if you have been losing weight or working out in the gym. Just smile and say thanks. Now if you wish to share with them that is okay too. You need be aware of this one point, that if you tell another what you have been doing, be prepared for them to come to you and ask you to pray for them a lot of times. Once you have really begun to be comfortable and have found that you now ‘need’ this special time each and every day, you will then be ready to begin praying for others regularly. After a short time it will seem more important to you to pray for others and less for yourself. It is in this understanding that the truly grand benefits begin to manifest themselves for all parties!

When someone asks you to pray for them be sure to write all the facts and details down. Then don't lose the note and don't forget to pray for them once you are in your personal devotional time. There are a lot of fancy prayer journals with professional Christian stationery on the market. I would suggest that for the first trial week, you should go cheap! Use notebook paper and an old dusty three ring binder or something to that effect. Once you begin to feel more comfortable and the need for daily devotions becomes stronger and something you plan to do daily, then spend some money and buy the real fancy version if you wish.

Starting daily devotions with your prayer journal will help keep you focused and mindful of the 'things' you wanted to bring to God in prayer. Working your journal, going back and forth and plotting your progress will help strengthen and build up your faith. As you read the sacred scriptures you not only develop a more intimate daily relationship but will also begin to delve deeper into the various mysteries of God and His word. Being organized with a personal prayer journal will help you to stay focused during prayers. Some people end up sharing, as a legacy, their prayer journals with some younger family members. I don't suggest doing so because you are working on you, for you, and that really isn't anyone's business. You do as you wish; however, you will find that you won't be as open and honest as you would be if nobody but you were reading your journal. In any case, start today because there isn't a much better time to begin daily devotions and working with your prayer journal, than right now! God bless!

The Law of Transmutation - How to Turn Dark Times Into Light!

0 komentar

Author: Adam Price

The law of transmutation states that the stronger an energy force is, the more prevalent force will always succeed. So in essence our feelings and state of mind whether positive or negative, will add to the overall energy of the universe.

When the law of transmutation was created by God, he/she designed it so that the stronger and more dominant thought will always win. And so it is on our earth plane at the moment, where we have a great deal of negative energy such as wars, hatred, suffering, pain, crime and disharmony.

On the other hand we know through studies of the natural laws of the universe and other teachings that the earth was created in accordance to God's divine blueprint. This blueprint has everything loving, peaceful and caring embedded into it, which cannot be separated or destroyed by any external negative forces, even though it appears that it can.

The law of transmutation says that "darkness is consumed by light" which means that any negative process, whether it's in the form of thought or energy, can be transmuted into God's loving energy. And because God's perfection, peace and love are embedded inside of every cell, atom and sub-atomic particle within us (as well as the air, earth, inhabitants and every living organism on earth) we can consciously change the negative energy as a whole.

Now if you're questioning this point still, and thinking that you'd like social proof of whether things can be changed or not, here's an example: We often have thoughts that may not create a positive feeling within us, or make us feel good about other people or situations we face. If we allow the dominant "fear" thought to expand within us, then it will affect our entire day and the people around us.

You notice if you walk into a room of anger, the air is filled with a dense feeling of gloom and these thoughts can begin to affect your thinking also. The same is also true of the reverse, if you're sad or feeling hostile and walk into a room of positive, happy energy you'll be very likely to change.

So somewhere within us, change begins with our own thoughts and we begin to transmute and change the negative thoughts that pop into our heads, and instantly dismiss them with love, and then replace them with a thought of love and kindness. It doesn't matter if the negative thought was directed at someone, a group, in the near vicinity or in the form of scolding yourself over something you did.

You need to acknowledge it, and send that thought on by utilizing the law of transmutation which will effectively neutralize it and replace it with positive, kind and compassionate thoughts.

By being conscious of our thoughts, and replacing any unwanted, energy draining, negative thoughts, we'll end up being more balanced within ourselves. We'll be able to keep a happier and healthier demeanour about us and it will show by the positive reaction that people, animals and even plants have with us. Because thoughts are energy and we're able to project them out into the universe, it creates positive outcomes everywhere.

The way to get these positive thought processes in action permanently is to take time each day to focus quietly on your existing surroundings, the people in it (including yourself), your family, pets, place of work, as it is now. Maybe there are some situations in your life that aren't as good as you'd like, acknowledge things as they are and then lovingly move into a space in your mind where every scenario is perfect, loving and in balance.

Focus on how you felt in both modes of thought, and then decide to stay focussed upon the feeling that made you feel better inside (even if it's not reality yet). By doing this you will bring your most dominant thought into existence by the law of transmutation.

So in summing up this lesson, try and keep in mind that positive affirmations will create positive thoughts, and positive thoughts will create balance, peace and love in your own life and the life of others. This love will override illnesses in yourself and others, disarm hate and negativity towards you (others who don't react positively will simply give up or leave your presence), and you'll know that your positive demeanour and vibrant energy will be going out to the world, playing it's part in a global peace consciousness.

Affirmation: I am a powerful component of the universal force we know as God, and I have the power to change my unwanted thoughts, feelings and emotions, from darkness and hatred into love, peace and light. By doing this, I become the love, peace and light that I project, this in turn goes out and comes back to me ten fold. I am the love that I want to create and am loved abundantly.

I Believe In Angels And Fairies And Mermaids

0 komentar

By: Elsabe Smit

Have you ever seen a real fairy? Or a giant, or a dwarf, or a troll, or a mermaid, or an angel? No? Then that means they do not exist, right?

If you have never been to Africa, would you be able to identify a giant African elephant, or a giraffe, or a male lion with a huge mane, or a black mamba? Or if you have never been to Europe, would you be able to identify the Eiffel Tower, Windsor Castle, the leaning tower of Pisa? If you have never been to Egypt, would you recognize the pyramids or the sphinx?

Of course, you say. There are photographs of them on the internet, or you know people that have been to those places and returned to show the photographs and tell the story. Books have been written about them, and therefore they must be real.

But the same rule does not apply to fairies or trolls or mermaids or angels, right? We all know that these things do not really exist. And we all know that people are giants or dwarfs because of their genetic disposition or because of particular glands that malfunction. That means if some people can see angels and trolls and fairies but we cannot see them, there is something wrong with those people. If other people can describe giraffes and the Eiffel Tower just from a picture where we cannot, because we have never seen them, then that is OK. Does that make sense?

Let's look at this from a different angle. We know that our thoughts create images, and these images then materialize. Am I saying that we just imagine things like angels or fairies? In a way yes, but bear with me. We first imagine everything on this earth, from the chair that you sit on to the PC or laptop that you are reading this on to the food that you eat and the clothes that you wear. None of these things just appear from thin air. They are all first just an image, or a figment of our imagination, and then the image materializes. Of course we contribute to this materialization, because we use tools to make things. But where did the tools come from? Exactly. Somebody first imagines them, and then made them.

But if we can imagine things and then make them, where do we get the images from? From our minds? Yes and no.

There is a world that is identical to ours in another dimension. We become aware of that world by means of our imagination. That is why imagination is a doorway to a different dimension. That world is where all our ideas and inspirations come from. The same world contains the ideas of geniuses and murderers. We choose what we take from that world, and we imagine all of these things (i.e. we create images of them) and then the images materialize.

So do mermaids really exist? How about dwarves? And can the story of David and Goliath be based on a real giant? Why is it that all fairies and angels have wings? Is it at all possible that people have actually seen these things, as real as you see your breakfast spoon?

Have you seen that lovely red mushroom with the white spots that appears in the drawings that go with fairy tales? Have you ever seen such a mushroom for real? The scientific name of that mushroom is Amanita Muscaria. They are also known as magic mushroom because of their hallucinogenic-type effects ' the same effects are induced by LSD. They grow in the northern hemisphere, and have been used for many years by shamans to induce an altered state of consciousness. Because you have never seen them for real, does not mean that they do not exist.

Some people believe in angels because they are mentioned in the Bible, but they do not believe that the angels actually exist for real. They laugh and wonder about the sanity of the people that can see and talk to angels, but it is OK for them to believe that there are churches with round tops in Moscow, even though they have never seen them.

Many children believe that they can see fairies, and it is much more than a belief ' for them it is real. For their parents it is just a child's active imagination, and they regard it as part of their parental duties to get the child to acknowledge that pictures of fairies are just that ' pictures of some fancy figment of someone's imagination.

Because we deny our own truths with small things like the existence of fairies, we also deny larger truths such as inspirations, ideas and flashes of our own futures that come from the same sources. We deny ourselves a richness of life that is there for us to enjoy at all times, if we are willing to stretch the boundaries of our truths.

David & Goliath

0 komentar

By: Jon Straumfjord

Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.... (1 Samuel 16:13, NKJV)

Now the Philistines gathered their armies together to battle ...

And a champion went out from the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, from Gath, whose height was six cubits {9 feet} and a span. He had a bronze helmet on his head, ... a coat of mail, ... bronze armor on his legs and a bronze javelin between his shoulders. (1 Samuel 17:1,4-6, NKJV)

And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him and were dreadfully afraid.

And Saul said to David, "You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth."

But David said to Saul, "... Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.... The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." (1 Sam 17:24,33-37, NKJV)

Then [David] took his staff in his hand; and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag, in a pouch which he had, and his sling was in his hand. And he drew near to the Philistine.

So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and ... David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it.

And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled. And David took the head of the Philistine and brought it to Jerusalem, but he put his armor in his tent. (1 Samuel 17:40,50,51,54, NKJV)

Immediately after Samuel anointed David to be king, the Holy Spirit came upon David. He had lived a life of faith before he was anointed by Samuel, but he now had a new and more powerful relationship with the Lord through the Holy Spirit.

Shortly after his anointing, David came into the presence of Goliath, the giant of Gath. The Israelites and Philistine armies had arrayed themselves on opposing hills, with a valley between the two. Since Goliath was a minister of fear and intimidation, he continually displayed his gleaming bronze armor and physical prowess before the armies of Israel, all the time slandering the name of the Lord God of Israel.

While the men of Israel were greatly intimidated by Goliath, the Spirit of the Lord within David was outraged. Whereas the men of Israel had focused on Goliath's strength, his stature, and each and every detail of his armor and weaponry, David focused on the Lord. The men of Israel were gripped with fear because they saw their limitations in regard to Goliath, while David was filled with confidence, because he focused on the Lord's ability to deliver him in each and every situation, no matter how intimidating.

King Saul offered David his personal armor, but David could barely move in it. Since he was trusting neither in himself, his armor, nor his weaponry, David simply took the weapons he was familiar with, and entered the valley trusting the Lord.

Goliath was outraged to see a small boy coming from the armies of Israel to face the mighty, valiant, and seasoned warrior. The intimidator was humiliated. Goliath trusted his own strength, but David trusted the far superior strength of the Lord and prevailed with a shepherd's sling, and three small stones taken from the stream at the bottom of the valley.

So what does David teach us about faith? First, those who focus on their problems will continually live in fear, whereas those who focus on the Lord will live in faith. Second, those who focus on themselves will be defeated, while those who focus on the Lord will be victorious.

'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts. (Zechariah 4:6, NKJV)

Cremation: Religion, Faith, Culture and Costs

0 komentar

By: Steven Cancel

Cremation is when a non living body is reduced to ashes by burning in a crematory fire or crematorium furnace. The remains of the fire are often placed in urns where they are then buried, held at memorial sites, kept by loved ones, or sometimes hold wishes by the person that has passed on. A common wish is to be spread out over the Oceans or something similar. Being cremated is a very common act with other popular methods such as casket funerals.

Ancient evidence has placed cremation back to at least 26,000 years ago. It is likely common that the practice took place prior to this point in time but evidence would have likely been destroyed or lost. Throughout history different cultures have both embraced and prohibited the use of cremation.

Different religions and cultures often depict what one is able to request done with their remains. Depending on how strict someone follows their religion will set forth if the remains must be buried, kept, or spread at will. A common example of this is Roman Catholicism requires a follower to bury or entomb the remains which generally would require an urn to properly follow. Other religions and cultures have far more complex rules to follow so this should be an important step in your research based on your faith.

Economically speaking, cremation can also be far less expensive to be preformed that a traditional casket burial. Although it is commonly not the important topic at a funeral, the cost burden on those paying for it can be unaffordable at times. If a body is cremated without a coffin and the not buried it can save thousands of dollars if it was done otherwise. Urns to place the remains in can even be found right here on the internet at a great discount from prices held within funeral homes.

There is also many other reasons people choose cremation over a traditional burial. The ability to become incinerated and become one with the earth is commonly more appealing than decomposing slowly within a small casket. Environmentally speaking cremation is also better for the earth in many ways. The embalming fluids, caskets, and other means used in traditional burials contaminate the ground water and the ground itself. Pollution aside, common burials require a large amount of space which is becoming more scarce and expensive in largely populated areas. These are all things to consider when choosing a proper funeral.

Jephthah: a Conflicted Man of Valor

0 komentar

By: Jon Straumfjord

Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valor, but he was the son of a harlot; and Gilead begot Jephthah. Gilead's wife bore sons; and when his wife's sons grew up, they drove Jephthah out, and said to him, "You shall have no inheritance in our father's house, for you are the son of another woman." Then Jephthah fled from his brothers and dwelt in the land of Tob; and worthless men banded together with Jephthah and went out raiding with him.

It came to pass after a time that the people of Ammon made war against Israel. And ... the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob. Then they said to Jephthah, "Come and be our commander, that we may fight against the people of Ammon."

So Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead,"Did you not hate me, and expel me from my father's house? Why have you come to me now when you are in distress?" (Judges 11:1-7, NKJV)

Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and commander over them ... (Judges 11:11, NKJV)

So Jephthah advanced toward the people of Ammon to fight against them, and the LORD delivered them into his hands. And he defeated them from Aroer as far as Minnith — twenty cities — and to Abel Keramim, with a very great slaughter. Thus the people of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel. (Judges 11:32-33, NKJV)

And Jephthah judged Israel six years. Then Jephthah the Gileadite died and was buried among the cities of Gilead. (Judges 12:7, NKJV)

Jephthah was a warrior, and the son of one of his father's concubines. Because he was also the firstborn son of Gilead, he had some claim to the inheritance of Gilead, at least until his half brothers drove him away. So Jephthah went to live on the border between Israel, and Syria near Damascus, on the outskirts of the territory of Gilead, and began raiding among the towns, cities and territories of the enemies of Israel. Even though it was beneath him to either beg or seek charity, Jephthah had no trouble pillaging the defenseless, and began leading a band of marauders to terrorize the countryside.

Some time later, the Ammonites (the descendants of Lot's youngest daughter) decided to invade Israel. Since Jephthah had developed a reputation as the leader of a military style band of marauders, the elders of the province of Gilead sought him out to be the leader of their army. Jephthah wasn't exactly impressed by the elders seeking him out in their hour of need, especially after driving them away a few years earlier. So Jephthah struck a deal with the elders that would make him their leader if he defeated the Ammonites.

Jephthah wisely began his confrontation with the Ammonites by resorting to diplomacy. He recounted the history of the encounters between Israel and the other nations of the area when Israel entered and conquered the land of Canaan. However the king of Ammon wasn't about to acquiesce so easily. So Jephthah made a hasty and ill-conceived vow to the Lord, in return for victory over the Ammonites. Ammonites were defeated, at the cost Jephthah's daughter life of perpetual virginity, and quite possibly her life as well.

So what lessons can we glean from Jephthah about the nature of faith? First, the Lord is no respecter of social status, he equally considers the faith of both the King and the vagabond. Second, the Lord hears those who sincerely call out to him in faith. Third, the Lord is not impressed by hastily-made, and ill-conceiver and poorly-considered vows for the sake of manipulation, which frequently result in painful losses for both the one who proclaiming the vow, and those close to him/her.

The Ten Commandments

0 komentar

By: Laura Taff

Have you followed the ten commandments? The question may seem odd. Who thinks about the ten commandments anymore, right? Aren’t we free from being under that law? Doesn’t being a Christian mean you go to church and then God forgives you for all your sins and then you go to heaven when you die? Well, no it really doesn’t mean that.
Being a Christian means you have repented of your sin and you follow Christ. So how do we know if we’ve sinned in the first place? Oh, yeah, back to that law. So let’s look a little closer at the ten commandments and see which ones we have kept.

Number ten is "Do Not Covet". Have you ever wanted something someone else had? Have you been jealous that they had something you couldn’t have?

Number nine is "Do Not Lie". Have you ever lied? Even a "white" one?

Number eight is "Do Not Steal". Have you ever stolen anything regardless of the value?

Number seven is "You Shall not commit adultery". Have you cheated on your spouse physically or emotionally? How about looking with lust? The Bible says he who looks upon a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (And women, it counts for us too!) So have you looked with lust?

Number six is "Do Not Murder". Have you ever murdered anyone? Well, how about hated anyone? Have you ever said "I hate you" to anyone or hated someone who hurt you? If so, you’ve broken this commandment. Huh? You see, God judges our thoughts and emotions as well as our deeds. 1 John 3:15 says "He who hates his brother is a murderer".

Number five is "Honor Your Father and Mother". Have you always kept this in the way that is pleasing to God? Even as a teenager?

Number four is "Honor The Sabbath and Keep It Holy". Have you always set aside one day out of seven?

Number three is "You Shall Not Take The Name of God in Vain." Do you make a habit of saying, "Oh my ____!"? Have you used God’s name in combination with a four letter curse word? This is blasphemy. By doing this we are taking the name of the Holy God who gave us life and using it to express disgust.

Number two Is "You Shall Not Make For Yourself Any Idol. Most of us think of the carved wooden gods that people in olden days worshiped in place of God. But we don’t realize that we sometimes do it when we make God who we want him to be. On an episode of a popular television show, when a young woman’s parents found out that she and her boyfriend were sleeping together before marriage, the young woman explained that she had decided that it wasn’t a sin. Guess what? She broke the second commandment. She made God be what she wanted him to be by making sex before marriage okay. That wasn’t the one true God, that was a god she made up.

And the number one commandment is " You Shall Have No Other God’s Before Me". Have you always put God first in your life? You should know that Romans 3:11 tells us that there is no one that understands, and no one who seeks after God. That tells us we’ve all broken this one at least once if not continually because we don’t always put Him first. Your school work, business deals, car, money, kids, etc. can all be "gods" to you that you put before God.

So how did you do? I didn’t do so well. I broke them all. Now what?

Well, you have to ask yourself, as I have, if you died tonight for any reason, and you found yourself standing before God waiting to be assessed on your life, what would happen? Would you be innocent or guilty? If you even broke one you’d be guilty, as I am.
Would you go to heaven or hell? Well, if you’re guilty, you can’t go to heaven. Does this concern you? Friend, I’ve got some good news for you. God did something for you and me so that we do not have to serve our sentence in hell. Someone already did that for us. Do you know who that was? It was Jesus. When he died on the cross he saved us from our sins (all those commandments up there that we broke) because he went to hell in our place. Yes! Jesus went to hell the three days he was dead. But then he rose again and now has conquered death and hell forever! Don’t let this precious gift be wasted. Repent of your sin, turn to Jesus, and follow him. Say your own heart-felt prayer to God now and start living a life with Christ. You’ll still fall into breaking those commandments. But you’ll fall, not dive in to them. And you’ll ask forgiveness and be truly repentant. Just remember that God does not pardon us because we are sorry, He pardons us because someone else paid our fine. God bless you.

Samson: the Wayward Nazirite

0 komentar

By: Jon Straumfjord

... Manoah's ... wife was barren and had no children. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to the woman and said to her, "... you shall conceive and bear a son. ... be careful not to drink wine or similar drink, and not to eat anything unclean. For ... you shall conceive and bear a son. And no razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines." (Judges 13:2-5, NKJV)

So Manoah took the young goat with the grain offering, and offered it upon the rock to the LORD.... as the flame went up toward heaven from the altar — the Angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar! When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell on their faces to the ground. (Judges 13:19-20, NKJV)

So the woman bore a son and called his name Samson; and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him. And the Spirit of the LORD began to move upon him ... (Judges 13:24-25, NKJV)

So Delilah said to Samson, "Please tell me where your great strength lies, and with what you may be bound to afflict you." (Judges 16:6, NKJV)

Then the Philistines took him and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza. They bound him with bronze fetters, and he became a grinder in the prison. However, the hair of his head began to grow again after it had been shaven. (Judges 16:21-22, NKJV)

... they called for Samson from the prison, and he performed for them....

Then Samson called to the LORD, saying, "O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!" And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars which supported the temple, and he braced himself against them, one on his right and the other on his left. ... he pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on ... all the people who were in it. So the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life. (Judges 16:25, 28-30, NKJV)

Samson's conception and birth was a result of divine intervention on behalf of his godly parents. He was to be a Nazirite (Numbers 6:1-21) from his birth, to refrain from cutting his hair, from consuming alcoholic beverages, and eating any ceremonially unclean foods. The Nazirite was to refrain from consuming anything made from grapes, whether wine, the juice, the grapes themselves, the seeds, or even the skin of the grapes, or any other part of anything that could possibly be obtained from a grape vine. He was also to keep away from all dead bodies, even those of his closest relatives. Every Nazirite was to constantly maintain the highest degree of holiness before men and God. However, probably the only one of these requirements that Samson regularly observed was refraining from cutting his hair, at least until it was involuntarily cut by the Philistines after Delilah's betrayal. Certainly it would be difficult to consider him a Nazirite, or even a genuine man of faith, at least until the last few minutes of his life.

Samson had always known that the Lord was his true source of strength, and was well aware of the Lord's requirements on his life, even though he regularly failed to meet those requirements. After a long life of prideful living, and the physical and emotional humiliation he had suffered at the hands of his enemies, Samson was finally willing to humble himself and cry out to the Lord for help.

Since he was not living during the dispensation of grace, he felt no compulsion to either seek or extend mercy to others; his only desire was for revenge. Since Samson was now moving in humility and faith, the Lord granted his request and empowered him to take the lives of his enemies, at the cost of his own life.

So what can Samson teach us about faith? The Lord will gladly respond to a sincere and humble expression of faith, even if it represents the final words of one who has lived a life of continual conscious rebellion. Yes, the Lord will hear every sincere cry of faith, no matter what kind of person the individual was previously.

Why You Should Become a Christian Before Getting Established in Business

0 komentar

By: Stephen M. Seabrook

Absolutely no business, not one, should try to avoid and cheat oneself from the blessings that flow from heaven! There is no property or material gain that you can achieve (with your worldly mindset) that is greater, should come before, or is greater than being a child of God.
"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" Mark 8:36 (NKJ)
God called one man a fool to his face, saying "You fool!" On this night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?" Luke 12:20 (NKJ)
This verse comes from the story of a man who totally neglected his personal responsibility to develop and nurture his eternal soul. In contrast, as he was successful, he built bigger barns to store the increases in crops and grain that he grew, and fed his soul off the edible comforts of his labor.
The whole point of this story is that without placing God first in your life, everything you work for in business will pass away to someone else when you die. As a christian this is not a problem. But as a non-christian who lives his life concerned with only the here and now has one major question to answer. Is it worth losing your soul for the temporary achievement of riches and personal glory at the expense of God!
Who do you think gives you the wisdom, power, and ability to be successful in the business you have? If you believe that YOU achieved it all by yourself, read further. God blesses you with talents and abilities to achieve His will in your life, not yours. Those that understand this and serve God will tell you that abilities and talents that are unused or used in selfish reasons are taken away. On the contrary, God is able to and will increase the fruits from your labor providing that He is first in your life, you offer Him the first and best of everything in your life, and you follow His word.
In Matthew 6:33, Jesus reinforces and confirms this teaching by saying "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (NKJ)
Over in the book of Psalms 1: 1-2, we read: Blessed in the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the Law of the Lord and in His law he mediates day and night. (NKJ)
King Solomon tell us in Proverbs 29:25: The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord shall be secure. (NKJ)
Finally, in Mark 10: 29-30, Jesus talks about your eternal reward as follows: "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for My sake and the gospel's, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time-houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands with persecutions-and in the age to come, eternal life." (NKJ)
It's never too late to change. Are you willing to commit your life to Christ and let Him guide your personal and business affairs? If my soul and eternal life is at stake, my answer would be a resounding YES!
You have the power and authority from the Word of God, use it often and wisely!
May the God of Peace bless you as you labor!

CREATE TRUE PEACE FROM ANGELS: Don't Be A Fool

0 komentar

By: Laura Bartolini Mendelsohn

April Fool's Day is thought to have begun in the 1500s when the Gregorian calendar changed the New Year from April 1 to January 1. Those who erroneously continued to celebrate the New Year on April 1 were labeled "fools," ridiculed and in general played upon by other folk. You were either "with it" or not, which was "foolish."

In the article "Showroom Sizzle, The Most Desirable Cars On The Planet," Road and Track magazine (3/2008) speaks about the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider as "a sexy Italian," describing it as "slinky" and mentions another car "will provide hours of smoky burnouts."

We are all subject to this type of positioning. Madison Avenue, one of the global capitals of advertising, knows how to tempt, torture and tease us into finally buying that new something. When you have what they advertise you are supposed to feel better. Having less of it makes you a "fool."

This is not a criticism of our advertising industry, but rather an accolade to their cleverness and acknowledgement of its pervasive nature throughout our economy. Without Madison Avenue our economy would slow down. So let's thank them for that.

But it is important to realize there is a difference in satisfaction from owning the latest luxury car to being loved by your mother. In order to truly feel good about yourself, angelically peaceful, centered, whole and I shall dare to say, charismatic, you need to feel complete. The way to feel complete is to connect to the "source" of everything.

As trite as that sounds, people report when they meditate, pray or simply commune with nature; they feel connected to a spiritual presence. This is what the "Celestine Prophecy" calls energy. You can either have it holistically from its true source, or you can fleetingly steal it with a new luxury car or some other false icon before you.

Here are some suggestions to begin your own process towards a more peaceful, content and charismatic life.

1. Commune with nature. If it is the beach that comforts and sooths you, live there or get there often. If you like sunsets, enjoy more of them. If babies bring you joy, go to a shopping mall and say hello to each one as it goes by. The list of ways to add the healing and beauty only nature can provide is endless.

2. Meditate. I was taught to meditate when I was going through a stressful time in my life. The results were nothing less than spectacular. I was more peaceful, centered and found less need to let off stress with addictive, destructive behaviors. Start each day with a quiet meditation.

3. Worship. For some people worship is going to church, others a twelve step program, still others attending a spiritual message service. Whatever works for you, find a way to feel the presence of spirit and routinely connect with it.

4. Art. Appreciate or make your own art. Watch, hear and experience the works of masters channeling the energy of our creator through their expression. Experience symmetry, balance and expression pulse through your veins as you create your own art.

5. Discover and live Your Life Purpose. Edgar Cayce says living your life purpose will provide a deep sense of being at peace with yourself and all of life. Hire an intuitive coach to help you define and reach this dream. A coach can help you see yourself differently and keep you on track towards reaching your goal.

These are just a sampling of some ideas which can help you commune with the divine. The more you do this, the greater your ability to generate your own peace, sense of well-being and charisma. Soon you will be living a more balanced, harmonious and satisfying life. Don't be a fool. Connect with source.

While Watching the Pope, God Showed Up

By: Bob Miller

"With pomp and grandeur you parade your selection of omnipotence pass where I stand to center stage as if I were not there. What has this little boy of Mine done that warrants you kneeling and honoring him so? You carefully adjust his robe and provide him with nourishment leaving me to look after Myself.

"Today I waited for you to give this holy one of yours a handful of dirt and ask him to make you a child or even a mustard seed out of it. What has this holy man done that you have witnessed that I haven't?

"Is it possible that I was asleep when he cured a cripple or gave sight to one who was blind? Time after time you embellish and even create deeds so you can make these religious icons of yours saints. Why do you do that when I have given you an everlasting Saint from My very own blood? Could it be that my Son and I are no longer worthy of your trust and you have decided to create your own rescuer? Okay. I will allow it. But it is for you to know that the one you are kneeling and praising is the one you are to go to in your next moment of fear. My Son and I are curious how those of you without worldly status propose to tell this holy man of yours about your needs and wants in the middle of the night as you do with Us, but We sincerely hope it works out for the two of you."

I replied, "God, no newspaper will publish this story should that be Your goal. They'll not even sell me space to publish it."

To my surprise God said, "That's understandable since the media is nothing but a political conduit. To the Catholics’ credit, they don't build sexual concentration camps like the Mormons do. And sadly, these two cults are just as holy as the rest of them. You go ahead and write about our meeting, and you just might be shocked at how many decent people will publish it. There are not quite as many hypocrites in the world as you believe, Bob."

Footnote: Over a million people lined the sidewalks of America for hours on hours in hopes of getting a glimpse of this Pope, the leader of a vicious gang of pedophiles and homosexuals. A gang that has spent over $450 million dollars in the United States alone in fees, fines and settlements for their ungodly deeds. The unknown damage done by the female side of this organization to little girls has been avoided by all in hopes this disgusting event will somehow go away. It might be worth noting that these degenerates are paying for all of this out of monies that people have given the church to carry on God's work.

Who am I? I'm that little boy who a priest sat on his desk and then unzipped his pants at the St. Florian School in St. Florian, Alabama. Have I sued the church? No, and I don't intend to. I don't want money that was given to the church by a multitude of people worse off than I am. But that sure hasn't stopped all these other good, God fearing Christians and their attorneys from grabbing it. These damn hypocrites on both sides make me gag.

Failure of Muslim Societies

0 komentar

By: Ahmed Parvez

It is necessary that we Muslims face up to the reality that the Islam that we profess, practise and preach today is not working. And has not worked for a long time. This is true both for our communal life as societies, and our personal lives as individuals. In Muslim countries and communities around the world there is no shortage of mosques and preachers; prayer and fasting are common, millions perform the Hajj every year. Yet most of these societies are rife with corruption and injustice; poverty and illiteracy prevail; sickness and malnutrition are common. It is not just a question of resources; those Muslim countries that are lucky enough to have oil or other natural resources may have avoided some of these problems but face other serious ones (which are also common throughout the Muslim world) : lack of individual freedom and human rights; deep economic and social class divisions; materialism and consumerism; the lower status of women; the alienation of youth, etc.

This failure of Muslim societies to solve internal problems has been matched by their failures to deal with external challenges. In the 19th and early 20th centuries they were unable to withstand the European colonial and imperial tide that swept over them. Today, they are not able to effectively resist the external political, economic and cultural pressures to which they are subject, nor have they been able to keep up and cope with the rapid technological changes occurring in the modern world. No Muslim society today, whatever its geography or history, can be pointed out as one where humanity has progressed, or as a model of how human beings should live. There has not been such a one for centuries.

Islam Then and Now!

For its early adherents Islam was a set of simple ideas and beliefs relating to Allah Almighty, and the relationship of human beings to Allah. This overpowering vision transformed them, and led them to transform their world. The essence of the vision was awareness and belief in Allah, the creator and sustainer of the universe and the role that Allah ordered human beings to play in their world. This original Islam had no dogma no ritual no elaborate code of laws no special class of persons learned in the religion that guided and judged other believers; in short none of the elaborate structure that now passes for Islam. This superstructure did not exist in the early centuries of Islam. The problem we face is that Islam today is a complex and rigid structure, frozen in time, which overlays and obscures the original and essential message that Islam brought to humanity. Further complicating the issue is the emergence of a class of self-styled religious authorities and "guardians", so that there is now a virtual priestly class in Islam where there was no place for one in its original version. What has happened to Islam is not unique; in fact this has been the trajectory followed by all the major religions. Each of them started off as a simple message of such power and relevance that it attracted significant numbers of adherents, whose lives were deeply affected and changed by their belief in this new vision. Over time these numbers grew greatly but also gradually the simple and original message was overlaid by dogma, ritual and hierarchical structures, directed and controlled by a priestly class (which usually allied itself to the secular authority in power in a mutually beneficial arrangement). Thus the revolutionary vision that gave birth to this transforming movement became a static & institutionalized religion. That is what has happened with Islam and it has become twisted shape of another religion.

Kabbalah - Jewish Mysticism

0 komentar

By: Marcia Henin

In Hebrew language, kabbalah means, to receive. It is a mystical aspect of Judaism. It shows a set of teachings meant to define the inner sense of both traditional Rabbinic Literature and the Hebrew Bible. Kabbalah also explains the importance of Jewish religious observances.

Kabbalah is a necessary part of the Torah followed by its followers. For observant Jews, the study of Torah is an inherent duty. The Torah teaches the doctrines that some Jews accept as the true meaning of Judaism while others reject them as adverse and heretical to Judaism.

Kabbalah Jewelry shows the mystical segment of Jewish studies that explain the relationship between the physical and the spiritual. It is a popular theme for large pieces of jewelry. Presently, jewelers market many amulets similar to Kabbalah Jewelry.

Kabbalah Jewelry varies in cost as well as design. They are made of silver, gold and even pewter. They include semi-precious and precious stones. These items are popular, as people believe that they bring good health, prosperity and happiness. Apart from Jews, many non-Jews entertainers, celebrities and movie stars also wear Kabbalah jewelry.

Kabbalah Amulets:

The designs for Kabbalah amulets differ and are simple. They include well-known Red String. It is nothing more than a braided ring with a small charm or an amulet such as a heart.

Many forms of jewelry derived from the symbols of Kabbalah offer protection against evils. They are termed evil eye. They include pendants, known as Hamesh or Hamsa in Hebrew, in which there is an open eye at the center. People say that the Eye of Almighty is always on lookout against evil forces, hence the name All Seeing Eyes. The five fingers of the pendant symbolize the five Torah Books, the most sacred books of laws for Judaism.

These charms also include well-known fish amulets, Hebrew letters and shapes of pomegranates.

Many Kabbalah inspired jewelry are available online. The prices vary from $20 to hundreds of dollars. It is not the price, but the artistic history attached to it that makes people love such mystical symbols of good luck and protection.
