It is very famous festival of Hindu. By the name we can realize it is the God Lord Shiva’s Festival. This festival was enjoying a lot in utter Pradesh. Maha Shivrati was coming on 14th day of the shady fully of "Margasirsa". It means the " the darkness of Lord Shiva". Their the ceremony was took place mainly in the darkness. On this day the Lord Shiva had wedded with parvati. So the festival was given by the name of Maha Shivaratri.
In this day people are going to temple, to respect the god Lord Shiva. In the dark Lord Shiva was dance the "Tandav". There are two big temples situated in Andhra Pradesh they are Sri Kalahasteshwara Temple at kalahasti and the second one is Bharamarambha Malikarjunaswamy Temple at Srisailam.
Lord Shiva has so much form which can be not seen in the Panchavaktra and also have a 5 head, it is the well constructed of the Lord Shiva energies. Rudraksha was play an important roll to developed our life. It is made up of dried fruit of the Rudraksha tree.
The statue which we are seen is also have a different name is as follow:
• KanKala-bhairava: it is the form which is unspoken even as critical off the fifth head of Brahma. • Gajasura-vadha-murthy: it is developed the mane of Nila. • Tripurantakmurthi: it was said by this name because when destroying the three cities of gold, silver and iron and was construct the three sons of Andhakasura. • Sarabhesa-murthy: it is developed to show the fought and the killed of Narasimha, there was a Vishnu. • Kalari-murthy: this was the famous of fighting and was strong emotion and had also shows to save the life of her devotee Markandeya. • Kamantaka-murthy: in this form which are lost Manmadha, it was the god of envy, it was always disconcerting him even as responsibility of self-punishment. • Andhakasura-vadha-murthy: it is the fprm which are made by crushed Andhakasura, which is later joined in its force as his chief officer and has made the accepted as Bhringi. • Bhairava-murthy: this form was associated with the underground cult and was respect to resources grounds and the weighty yard. • Shiva As Phallic Symbol
we always seen the Lord Shiva temple in that generally we got the phallic icons of the linga. Which is represent the energies for her living on together which making their level, he also says that the earth which are constitutes the total world. There was a shaivite temple, we seen that linga was always placed in the middle below the spire, anywhere it is symbolize which is marine on the world.
In Bhagavata Purana their we can know that the Lord Shiva was appeal the forehead of Lord Brahma. But when Lord Brahma was asked about his daughter, their was four Kumaras, which is created the young in the life, but they refuse. When they started for crying the small baby appeared from his temple. While the small baby was crying he was known as the Rudra, and become the Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva had asked to went forth and was create progeny, however the Lord Brahma was practical had tested his strong emotion, as they joint the behavior of the lord Shiva, in Shiva purana the Lord Shiva had promise Brahma that he was an aspect of his, Rudra, which will be natural and was the aspect of equal to him.
